"I know this is actually a therapy forum"

yes it is

"but I figgered I would throw this out in the midst of the group hug/drive-by:"

NO group hugs here, you must be thinking of that other forum

"What was8 the show where Jerry debuted the Midi?"

not sure of the exact show, but I'm pretty sure I know what type of guitar was first to have midi installed(black Fender Stratocaster)

"Did he stop using it at some point?"

Yes, at some point I'm sure he stopped. I have no idea when it would've been.

"Now please continue with the comraderie/back-stabbing."

Oh, good grief.

I thought wolf was the first guitar that had the MIDI.
I guess they were afraid to use Tiger or Rosebud as the guinea pig.

that is possible

"Wolf briefly came out of retirement in 1988 as a guinea pig for MIDI synthesizer experiments...1988-89 Jerry started playing a Black Strat w/ Midi during space,...1989- Fall tour Wolf briefly came out of retirement as a guinea pig for MIDI synthesizer experiments...1990- Rosebud Irwin delivered his $11,000 masterpiece, Rosebud, with MIDI controls built in."
